From where? Long haul is different from short haul, but AC's Executive
First is one of the better North American business (US Domestic First) class products. Jeff "mikeos" wrote in message ... Has anybody had any experience of this class in Air Canada? I'm currently looking for a flight to Vancouver in June. |

Has anybody had any experience of this class in Air Canada? I'm
currently looking for a flight to Vancouver in June. It's two different products depending on the plane. For planes used on North American routes (A32x, regional jets) it's a good quality domestic first, 2+2 in the A32x, comfortable leather seats, power outlet for your laptop, meals on china with decent wine poured from real bottles. The seatback video is the same throughout the plane, with a variety of TV and movies on demand. Don't miss the Canadian ones. On international equipment (B767 and B777, A330) it's seats that flip over into flat beds like the ones on Virgin Atlantic or Air NZ. I'm 6'4" and slept quite well in them. http://www.aircanada.com/en/travelin...incomfort.html Regards, John Levine, , Primary Perpetrator of "The Internet for Dummies", Please consider the environment before reading this e-mail. http://jl.ly |

However I seem to be a bit confused (not unusually). This link says that it is "Available on most European, Asian and South American itineraries", but "Does not include North America and the Caribbean". I assume that this does not mean to imply that it is not available TO flights to North America? |

I assume that this does not mean to imply that it is not available TO flights to North America? That would be a challenge, install the seats on the plane for the eastbound flight, rip them out for the westbound flight. I promise, it's the same seats both ways. The one minor exception is that they have a few 767s with the old seats which they now sell as much cheaper "comfort plus" coach on flights to BCN and ATH. But if they say international executive first, that's the flat beds.
