Default life after Windows....

Most of the people senior enough to specify such systems were in
the business long before Windows was an option and probably
leaned their trade on mainframes and minicomputers. I know I did.

I wish that were true. In recent years I've had to deal with absolutely
clueless newbies implementing projects of this type. You can imagine the
disasters that ensue.

In recent years you've been showing tourists round Paris and teaching
English, you told us in great detail how you couldnt find
work in IT. Its becoming clear why that is.

I rather miss Primos , it was rather a nice OS with better security
and scheduling than any Unix system.

I never used Primos, but I doubt that it could compete with Multics for
security.

Ignorance is bliss but Primos was derived from Multics being written by
a team of ex Multics developers from MIT headed by Bill Poduska.
As such it implemented a segmented address space with rings, gates,
dynamic linking, paging, and even active functions on the command line.

What security certification did it obtain?
