Children allowed to run amok as though they were on the playground,
especially in the dining areas of the lido deck. I have seen them
almost knock people over while the "guardian?" sits back and says
nothing. They will be the 1st to sue if the child is injured.

Rather than make my own post ... I'll reiterate yours ... especially

On Princess in particular the art auctions are in your face.

the over priceing of some products. $2.24 for a can of pop, which cost
of 30 cents a can. A bottle of berringer white zin wine $30.00 which I
retail for $5.99 in my store. $3.00 for a 24oz bottle water which I
sell for $1.19. A 45minute massage for $150.00 and the girl spends 15
minutes trying to sell you something. Cruise lines do deserve a fair
profit but I think they overprice things to a point where people do not
spend. I no longer do any of the above examples. Drink water at
dinner. no more wine and do not buy bottle water. Been on 11 cruises
and saw very little wine drinking at dinner. Have not book a massage in
the last 5 cruises. I think if they lowered prices they wood make more
money by selling more..

Without any doubt, it's the art auction crap strewn all over the lobby,
hallways and common areas of the ship. I'm paying for a cruise, and
actually resent having to walk around the art crap. If I want that kind
of stuff for my trailer, I'll go to a flea market.

How about the photographers set up all over the ship. The set-ups and
the
lines waiting to have their pictures done block the flow of traffic.
This
is particularly bad when a person is in a wheelchair.

I would have to agree with Tobie...It is annoying to have photographers
block your way after you have processed aboard, on exit of the dining room
and while trying to disembark at ports. It is especially annoying and a
waste of time and photographic materials when you do not intend to purchase
the photos...

Second peeve is *pokes* at the buffet line who hold up the entire line
trying to decide what they want...they at least should tell the person (s)
behind them to pass and go ahead of them.

My only Princess was on the old Pacific Princess ... I don't even
think they were able to have it on that ship ...
Carnival was usually pretty bad ... but they seemed to have designed
the Freedom to have it without interfering ...

Hi Sue,
Try back-2-back. It is a great feeling near the end of the first cruise to
know that you don't have to pack and you don't have to leave.

Mine would have to be those who hog chairs with towels and then you
see the towels sitting on empty chairs throughout the day. As far as
I am concerned if you aren't in the chair for about 15 minutes or no
family member is right there the chairs are fair game. What do you
guys think?

Mine is having disembark on the last day, I never want a cruise to end.

You get 2 or maybe 4 people in minimum rooms run up to the Lido in the
morning - capture a table for 6 by filling the chairs with books bags etc.,
and then hold the table for the day playing cards, reading books, talking
etc. Meanwhile others are looking for a place to eat their lunch.

My second favorite is people who can't dance hopping around the floor as if
infected by evil spirits bumping into to those actually trying to do real
ballroom steps. This type of behavior would not be allowed in a casino or
other area where a certain knowledge is required, but the dance floor seems
free game.
