Default Southwest and assigned seats

Remember the comments a few weeks ago that Southwest was going to begin
assigning seats. No says the management. It's not even being
considered as a possibility. So much for that set of prognosticators.

I think the original statement wasthat they were looking into it.

Do you have a link showing that, preferably after the Oct 7, 2003
article in the LV Sun saying it was being considered.

No link, but substantial company releases/statements in the 17-20 October
period certainly were purposeful denials of the _Sun_'s claim (although
undoubtedly the matter had been "considered"....)
