Not fond of dressing up

That's sad. That dressing more and more casually has become the norm,
even where it was never the norm before, is disappointing. I will never
understand why dressing up for one evening is a chore for some people!

I will say, for me, it is not a chore. I know my posts say different. IF
I choose not to dress up, I do not go into the dining rom. Let rephrase
that-I will not go into the dining room, on a formal night, without a
wearing a suit.
The two cruises I have been on I have worn a suit on formal nights and
also wore it one more night on each cruise. On the next cruise I take
I'll will be taking a carry-on and this will mean I will NOT be taking a
suit. It also means I will not be at the dining room on these formal
nights.
For me, taking a suit on a 7 day cruise only to wear it twice is taking
too much clothing.
Now another thing. If I were to take a..... lets say ten day cruise,
then I would take my suit. It is just too much to take for just seven
days AND to be wearing only 2 nights. JDR
P.S. The waiter will get his tip for the two nights that I am not eating
in the dining room.
