Can all sellers get all staterooms? 12 different kinds of Carnivalbalcony staterooms?
We're looking to book a July cruise on Carnival Pride with 2 balcony
staterooms for a total of 5 or 6 people, but there seem to be at least 12 different "types" of balcony staterooms (7A, 8A, 8B, 8D, etc), some obstructed, some not. There doesn't seem to be any more info on the differences between the various "8 something" cabins besides that some are extended (8C, E, G, and I) and standard (8A, B, D, F, and H). Is there someplace I could find out this info? I called 2 sellers so far (Travelocity, Expedia), and they each offered me different balconies. Is this because they each get a certain "block" of staterooms to sell, or could I ask anyone to get any of them? |

They can typically beat or match prices you see online and will be able to answer all your questions. Mark |

As for the 8 standard cabins, the letters usually only mean they are on different decks, the higher the deck the better is the view held by many, but I like lower deck balcony rooms just as much. The Carnival web site shows the deck plans on all ships. |
