Maybe not box cutters specifically, but I work with several other remote
employees, several times a year we get together at HQ, we've traveled in
total with more knives then were used in the hijacking simply due to the
fact that each of us have forgotten to pull small knives out of our
laptop toolkits, and once you fly two or three times with an item
without getting noticed, it just isn't worth the hassle even if you
remember.

Lotion though, that they are good at.

The one thing that could have prevented the tragedy of 9/11 was
locking fortified doors to the cockpit. Have they done that yet?


Of course not, it's all about theatre.

similar comments made just before the first world war on the British youth
of that time.
