Hi,

I will be travelling in July on the Golden Princess, Southern Caribbean.

I
wanted to know if anyone knows which are the best shore excursions. The
ports are St. Thomas, Antigua, St. Marteen, St. Lucia and Barbados.

Thanks,

E.J.

St. Thomas- Ford Island Sail & Snorkel
Antigua- Mt. Herron Jungle Walk
St. Marteen- Orient Beach Shopping
St. Lucia- Margarita Island Tour
Barbados- Cheeseburger Reef Swim & Snorkel

We have done the Golden Eagle Catamaran trip in St Marteen, it's a sail,
snorkel, drink thing, and it's a blast.

Others did the America's Cup, and they loved it.

What are your interests? Shopping? Snorkeling? Relaxing on a beach?
Visiting historic or cultural sites?

We did the Golden Eagle Catamaran on St. Maarten and had a blast, so
I'd recommend that one, if you're looking to do a little sailing with
a short time at a nice beach. Snorkeling was nonexistent there,
though.

On St. Thomas, I usually take one of the cab/bus things (holds a dozen
or so people) to a beach and spend the day lazing about, snorkeling,
etc. Then, I'll take the cab/bus thing back into town for about 20
minutes of shopping.

Haven't been lucky enough to visit the other ports, so can't help you
there.

It depends on what you enjoy doing. In Antigua and Barbados I would go
diving or snorkeling. In St. Maarten I would go to Cupecoy Beach. In
St. Lucia I would hire a cab and take a tour of the volcano, view the
Pitons and see the botanical gardens. In St. Thomas, I would take a
highlights tour if I had never been there.

Becca -----enjoy the Golden Princess...
